I'm using the Oculus Quest with Link using the Anker cable (as suggested on the official Oculus page). The game runs extremely poorly, skipping frames and jittering all the time to an unplayable degree. The entire game stutters, not just the hands. Character's facial animations also seem to lag behind the audio. I've got the latest Nvidia driver and the latest Oculus firmware.
I highly recommend it! If you wanna play steam VR and depending on if you have a PC with a 1080 graphics card or above, and have a good ethernet connection, get the quest 2 and buy "virtual desktop" on the Oculus store, on the Quest to. Options. 04-19-2020 10:40 AM. With Quest Link I've been hitting the left Oculus menu button (which opens SteamVR settings), and then selecting Desktop view. When I then close the the SteamVR menu on the Quest I can access the Half-Life: Alyx pause menu. With my Rift CV1 I never had this issue.

Btw, 1080 was my previous GPU before 3070, and I've played Alyx on it as well, and I can confidently say that it is simply not enough for HL:A. It is enough to have a comfortable playthrough, but you'll not get butter smooth experience with it. Es-effin-specially on full render resolution of Quest 2. Anti Aliasing it basicly absent, if it is there it isnt noticeable.
