You are mostly right but pushing/ racing hard can destroy the tyres. For me it's something like this : Softs : 3 laps max. Mediums : 6 laps, the 7th lap will be super slow. Hards : 7-9 laps. This of course depends on the track and how much time each lap takes but I was never able to use Mediums for more than 7 laps even in Hakone which is a 1
