ASR failure is one of the first circuits to detect low voltage. That doesn't mean you have to buy a new battery, just investigate why the supply voltage is low which could more often simply be poor connections on the supply circuit. For about 18 months my stilo has been a little unstable when idle. However this problem has just got much worse. The engine fault light came on a couple of weeks ago and the car cuts out all the time when I stop a junctions/lights etc. Took it to a garage I know as service and MOT were due.
I read people recommending a newer version even for an older model. Will T9 work Ok with my 1.6 16V 2002? I understand that whichever version i choose, it will have to be reprogrammed to my car and probably moved away from engine proximity to avoid such problems in the future. P.S. Is anyone selling a used ECU or knows somebody who does?

LoL On the subject of my ECU - had a look at it today, but found no pins bent or fallen through. So it looks as if it is back to square one again. Dnes ma napadlo ako na to. Je to taký malý hack a upozorňujem že sa vďaka tomu spomalí všetko (aj delay, aj seriová komunikácia).
