To get a guild hall: Talk to the claiming officer for the right one. Gotta fork out 100g. Make sure you have either gliding or exalted mastery for LP or GH respectively. There are 5 waves of mordrem to kill, they spawn events all over the map and you'll need to kill them in time. Then the 'final boss' wave spawns.

Three rangers summon the wolf with their warhorns, one team/person heals it for as long as they can manage. Once it's dead, the rangers can summon a new one for the other team/person. In addition: floating Decoration arenas for the Water Fight Balloon Bucket.

My partner and I captured the Isle of Reflection easily within the time limit. But also worth noting that I raid. Partner was playing a half geared character. We were both condi scourge. I can see how players with less dps output might need one or twomore players to help out. But otherwise, much much easier than previous guild halls I think one of the draws of the multi guild system is to be a part of many guilds to experience different guild halls. If making all halls available to each guild individually became a thing, there would be less motivation to join other guilds and possibly make friends there, further insulating players. Step 2: Guild leader sets up squad. Step 3: We all repping our own guild join his squad in OUR Guild hall. Step 3: Leave OUR guild hall, and come back to it (there is now an option which guild hall to visit) Step 4: Enter THEIR guild hall. Step 5: Pick color of teams and guild leader goes back to his guild. Step 6: Begin GvG.
Guild level is a prerequisite for guild upgrades. The structural upgrades: Mine Excavation (1,2,3); Arena, Market, Tavern, Workshop, War Room Restoration (1,2); Notary upgrades: Hall, Portal and Further Exploration offer 100 GXP. Each completed minor upgrade generates 35 GXP.
Individual player housing is quite limited and is more a place for resource nodes that you can collect. It can be fun for a completionist but the average player may find it lacking. The guild halls are much more involved and are more guild housing. There is actually a lot of customization here in terms of decorations.
Guild Wars 2 Discussion. Guild Halls are useful for the express purpose of maxing out Guild Hall Upgrades. This is because WvW, PvP, and PvE can all benefit, to some degree or another, from having a maxed guild hall; whether that be the 15% waypoint discount in PvE, or the siege tactics in WVW.
Will the process of capturing the new guild hall be like it was for the HoT guild halls of paying for it and then doing the events inside to capture it. Just want to know as my guild wants to go for it right away and we are trying to figure out if we need to get a group together to do a capture event of fighting things to get it.
From Guild Wars 2 Wiki. Jump to navigation Jump to search. Decorations are guild cosmetic items which can be purchased or crafted, and placed in guild halls and their arenas. Each can be placed, rotated, and removed to reposition the item. Many decorations have collision, allowing players to stack decorations and climb on top of each.
This tbh, guild halls have some of the worst instancing I've ever seen. It was an exercise in extreme frustration getting two guilds together into the same guild hall plus one or two spectators who would stream. Any more people than that and it would throw the entire thing into complete chaos for a good 20-30 minutes at least sometimes longer.
New Guild Missions. With Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns, guilds will be able to run two entirely new major categories of guild missions. PvP guild missions will allow guild teams to compete in PvP to earn guild favor, and WvW guild missions will allow guilds to band together to conquer and hold objectives in WvW to earn guild favor.

Thanks for the response, yes currently the guild hall decorating system isn't very good good esp. the gold sink part.. that is why i think if this can be improved to make the decorating feature more attractive, if they are able to come up with a guild hall building tools package (purchasable directly from TP) and with common decorating items permanently unlock and have unlimited use until the 45nuI.
