So if you have any other network adapters installed like hamachi and tunngle or TAP diable them and far cry 3 multiplayer will work. My assumption is uplay either uses the wrong network adapter or blocks having anyother network adapter if enabled. As you may know Ubisoft/EA Has given up on Far Cry 3 Multiplayer and many have problems playing the multiplayer / co-op section of the game, but i found something that worked for me and i may thjnk it wil work for you aswell, if it don't work i appologize for you're time and you may try something else. The fix that worked for me is the following: FAR CRY 3 Multiplayer issue I can't join MP roons anymore, everytime I try I'm taken to an empty room or when I enter a room with other players, or even in a running match, it quickly empties as if like the players were expelled from the room and the match ends by insufficient players. This happens even when we have sufficient players to start a match, is not a problem of numbers of players.

So I just want to know if the multiplayer here on Far Cry 3 is fun and secure since both this and Splinter Cell are from Ubisoft. Far Cry 3 was fun on my Xbox 360 but, I just want to make sure my money doesn't go to waste when I buy this for my PC.
It only needs a one time activation on the internet, however you will need to launch uPlay in order to play FarCry 3. It could take around 5-10 seconds to launch a game (judging from other games i own through uPlay such as Driver San Francisco and H.A.W.X 2) though most of it is just synchronizing saves. I'm quite sure you can disable it.
The middle-of-the-road PvP multiplayer will probably be forgotten.
