I didn’t migrate. v2 is a completely separate smart contract, so eventually v1 will close and be worth nothing. The team has hinted that they ‘could’ manually convert for you after v1 is completely closed. But I’d wager that would be upon request and be more of a process.

Is there anyway to put that stand on the v1 backplate. V1 and V2 are very similar because they are both “regular” Switches. Almost nothing was reused in the making of the OLED shell. It would require cutting large parts away and rebuilding the plastic. In my opinIon these types of things come out looking awful but some folks are into that
But YES, the Huntsman Mini is the only keyboard with the Gen2 switch and that's a shame imop. It just Should be available on any other board since it's freaking amazing. I got my Mini yesterday, and will receive the TE-version on Friday to compare. I think I will most likely return the TE cuz I really just want the super quiet 2nd Gen switches.
How do I know if I have a V2 switch? The only way I could find to tell the hardware apart is the model number stamped on the back. The original reads « HAC-001, » while V2 is « HAC-001 (-01). » But there’s also an easier way to tell the difference — the V2 Switch comes in a box with a red background on its front panel.
However, if you play primarily in handheld or tabletop mode, upgrading to a V2 is recommended (although still not entirely necessary). Nvidia discontinued the old 20nm Tegra chip in the V1 Switch
Gateron KS9 Pro 2.0 Yellow. - In terms of overall sound, the KS9 Pro 2.0 Yellows are significantly more quieter and less higher pitched at topping out than the EMT V2 switches. - These switches are surprisingly close to each other in terms of smoothness with factory lubrication applied. Best minimal storage. The Samsung microSDHC EVO Select boasts read speeds of up to 95MB/sec. This listing also includes an SD adapter, which is useful on older computers. This card is great if you want a little extra storage just in case and aren't planning on installing many games from the Nintendo eShop.
Patched V1 Switch: either buy an SX Core modchip and install it yourself (those are practically impossible to find today), or get a new HWFLY clone (make sure it’s labeled as “V3”, as older models from 2021 were not compatible with the Patched V1 Switch) V2 is better. I have two modded switches both using SX Core. For some reason my v1 performs worse overall. I can't put my.l finger on it but v2 instantly boots and v1 takes 40 seconds to boot the payload. Also v2 runs Linux and Android better. Gaming on cfw on v1 is fine tho but just a few things I noticed.
The Nintendo Switch V2 is a direct upgrade over the V1, so there’s no real contest there unless you can find a V1 at a significantly reduced price. Meanwhile, if you’re willing to spend a bit more, the OLED version throws in a much better display and extra internal memory.
